For this build, I used a full-size MKII Tonebender reproduction case and built the circuit on one of my Eris PCBs. I’ve also added a “bias” pot which helps to dial in the sweet spot a bit as the weather changes. I’ve used a hand-selected trio of Philips OC76 Germanium transistors … the OC76s give a really thick, warm MK2 voice that cleans up at the volume pot quite a bit for brighter glassy, gritty rhythm fuzz-drive tones.
The case is finished in a golden copper hammertone powder coat with black “witch hat” knobs. I added a circular hand cut nickel silver Eris lotus blossom badge mounted to the foot switch. (The badge is easily removable if you prefer a raw case vibe.)
