The Grey Owl has turned out to be a favorite among Monolith customers; a Muff fuzz with deep, smoky low end, great sustain, and very dynamic compression. This batch turned out great, with two NOS Motorola BC239 and two BC107 transistors. A mix of germanium and silicon clipping diodes lends a unique distortion character, and these small-box units on the newly revised PCBs are especially articulate.
