The Periscope is my custom tuning of the classic Burns Buzzaround three transistor germanium fuzz. I’ve dialed this batch in so that the Tone pot covers a nice “sweet spot” from a full low midrange on the bass end to a cutting, thinner rasp & buzz on the top end. I’ve also selected NOS Philips 2N1309 transistors that provide a ton of sustain but also give a clear, glassy clean-up when you roll your guitar’s volume back.

The heavy steel wedge enclosures are finished in octopus purple powder coat and maroon red knobs, with an acid etched Leviathan graphic that suits the theme of the burly nautical beast. Red LEDs let you know what’s up when the action is “go”.
